CS ROYAL is an interpretation and improvement of the gaming phenomena that was skin betting where players of the critcally acclaimed esport title Counter-Strike: Global Offensive were able to participate and bet on variety of games with their in-game items called (weapon) skins.
But I hear Valve banned skin betting ?
While Valve did issue cease and desist letters to the biggest skin sites in the summer and fall of 2016, most of them are still around employing shady tricks like coin/diamond currencies with rigged exchange rate (your withdrawals are worth less than your deposits) and unfair withdrawal conditions. CS Royal provides classic 1:1 skin experience, the best provably fair system in the business that ensures we cannot change outcomes or see percentages and a solution to the underpay/overpay problems of the past.
Are my skins safe then ?
A bit safer than any skin site you are currently using. If your read closely into Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement Section 1B, which you agreed with when opening your Steam account, the skins in your account are Valve's propery and not yours, even though you might have spent real life money acquiring them. Which means that while still maintaining the CSGO skin and trading APIs, Valve is in a position to take all of your skins at any time, from any site, for any reason, with no warning whatsoever. If that happens the other sites will just run away with your money, while CS Royal will just transfer your account to our sister site running on bitcoin - www.crypto-royal.com and you will continue to enjoy the same benefits and great interface that you always have.
Bitcoin, what is bitcoin ?
Bitcoin is the future of money in our current digital world - it cryptographically secure and decentralized money that no corporation, government or individual in the world can take from you or dictate how to use. You can read more about it in our Bitcoin Beginner FAQ on our sister site www.crypto-royal.com .
Is this site legit ?
We are professionals in IT with more than 17 years of experience in the CS scene (yes, that is going back to the first beta). We hold ourselves to the highest standards of the industry and protection of customers rights. Hi Richard!
Okay, so how do I play ?
You need to have a Steam account and some CSGO skins (you can get both for free for just playing the game). You then deposit your skins using the big green button in the middle of the site called DEPOSIT / ENTER POT. The rules of a CSGO Jackpot are simple - players deposit their skins in a common pot and after the time or skin limit of the round is reached, a winner is drawn that takes the whole pot minus the site commission.
Is it more advantageous to play in USD or other currencies ?
The currency switcher in the top right corner, which converts the default USD view to EUR, RUB and JPY is for a visual and reference point only, your skin is worth as much as it is worth on the Steam market, with no reference of which view are using in the site.
How can I be sure you are not cheating me out of my wins?
We have the most transparent and verifiable provably fair system you have seen - check out our Provably Fair section. Unlike other sites we cannot change outcomes or see percentages, ever.
Are there any limits?
Currently we don't accept skins below 0.06 USD / 0.05 EUR. You can enter the pot with no more than 6 skins. The rounds currently last 60 seconds or until 42 items are deposited. You can deposit and withdraw as many times and as much as you want.
Do you take any commission ?
Yes. We take fixed 5% of the total value in the pot to maintain the site's operation. In case the commission cannot be taken as a whole skin, the lowest value skins in the pot are broken down to Bullets which are tokens you can SKINIFY back to real skins. We do not take commission if only two players are participating in a round.
What are Bullets ?
Bullets exist to ensure that you will never be overpaid or undepaid in case there is no way to break down skins to your exact winnings. They are worth exactly the same as a skin of the same value and you can play with them in any game in the site or convert them to skins in our SKINIFY page. Added convenience is that you can CLIPIFY Bullets into magazines/clips of your choice of size so you can better manage your inventory.
What is a "User Secret" and where do i change it?
The user secret is your contribution to the randomness and fairness of the draw - in the beginning of every round we take your User Secret along with the user secrets of all other people logged in the site, hash it and use it for the random drawing of the winner in the end of the round. A User Secret is an integer between 1 and 99999 and can be changed at any time from the "User Secret" tab in the "Profile" menu in the top right corner of the site. If you don't change your user secret, we autogenerate a new one for every new round.

Skins that are used in CS ROYAL's games are virtual items property of the Valve Corporation that have no value in real life and outside Steam's ecosystem. For excitement purposes we have assigned arbitrary values to the different skins based on their rarity, conditon and trade data from Steam's market. These values are subject to change at any time and with no forewarning. Every time you enter a pot you agree with CS ROYAL's valuation of said items. If you do not agree you are welcome to withdraw them from our site.
We reserve the right to restrict access to malicious users. Fraudulent activity and any attempts to scam will result in a swift and permanent ban from our services. Any attempts to impersonate CS ROYAL staff, misuse the site and its services, or harass other users will result in termination.
Winnings and Disbursement
Users will receive winnings from a designated CS ROYAL trade bot once a round has settled and winning are in the user inventory in the site. Statistics are kept from each round played to prevent any confusion or misuse of the site. A 5% commission fee is taken from each round if applicable. If there are only one or two participants in the round, there is no commission taken. CS ROYAL may monitor site activity and individual rounds to deter fraudulent activity.
Commission fee will be selected from all items within the pot from each round regardless of who deposited it. All selected items as commission fee are final and not available for trade.
Limitation of Liability
Use of our services is at your own risk. CS ROYAL and its employees or agents will never be held liable for your profits or losses while using our services.
Unlike other sites, CS ROYAL will not discard your items if you do not collect them in time, we will however regularly remind you to withdraw them as to free capacity for other users you can play with.
CS ROYAL collects public information from your Steam Profile including your display name, avatar, steam ID and trade URL. We do no have access to, nor do we collect any sensitive information from our users.
The public information collected from your public profile is used to identify you as a participant on our site and to verify your account in the event you choose to place offers and collect winnings.
We’re committed to providing full disclosure of our services to the public. All statistics that we are able to track are stored and pushed regularly through our site.
Although skins have no real value in real world and outside Steam's ecosystem we at CS ROYAL recognize that people can develop attachment even to such virtual items. All the games at CS ROYAL are just for fun, not for monetary gain but the same principles apply and individuals can exhibit addiction-like behaviour. Should this happen and you feel losing skins affects your daily life, please consult any of the sites below :
CS ROYAL allows you to verify and prove every round and every draw is as honest and correct as it can be. Unlike other sites we cannot know the winning ticket/number/percentage in advance and cannot change or fix any of the outcomes in our games. We achive this by the following :
Our Server Secret is provided by RANDOM.ORG website which in turn uses radio receivers to pick up atmospheric noise, which is then used to generate TRUE random numbers and is considered the most reputable random number source on the Internet. Additionally our servers have the HArdware Volatile Entropy Gathering and Expansion (HAVEGE) software installed that uses modifications of the internal volatile hardware states (the clock cycle counter of the CPU) as a source of further entropy for generation of the User Secrets of users that do not manually want to change it every round.
We provide you our Server Secret in the beginning of each round and display its SHA256 hash so you can verify it was unchanged. We disclose the value of the Server Secret once a round is ended and allow you to hash it yourself (or use and online tool like http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator) and see that we didn't change it secretly during the process.
We also take into account the User Secret of each logged user in the site in the beginning of every round. The User Secret is a number that each individual user can input in the Profile/Settings page and before every round and directly affect the outcome of a winner draw. Again, we display a SHA256 hash in the beginning of the round so you can verify the correct value was used for the draw.
Once a round is over, we construct an array of tickets, one of which will be randomly drawn to be the winner of the current round. For every 1 mBTC deposited in a round the player recieves 100 tickets. Since tickets are given in the order of depositing the items in the round i.e the first user gets the first 100 tickets, the second user gets the next 100 tickets and so on until the round is finalized, we shuffle the ticket using PHP implementation of the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm :
The seed with which we seed the PHP random generator to shuffle the values of the ticket array is the Server Secret for the given round. The shuffling is reproducible (meaning that if you have programming skills you can feed it the unshuflled array using the server secret as a seed you will always recieve the same shuffled array of values using your own PHP environment or online sandboxes such as http://sandbox.onlinephpfunctions.com) and insures that the order/timing of you entering the pot doesn't matter as the array will be randomly shuffled after the closing of the round.
The winning ticked id is calculated as being the remainder of the integer division of the sum of the Server Secret, the sum of all User Secrets of the users logged in at the start of the round and half the number of tickets in the round divided by the size of the ticket array. Or in mathematical terms:
(ServerSecret + UserSecret + SumofAllOtherUserSecrets + TicketArrayLength/2) % TicketArrayLength
So to conclude - we show you two of the values used for drawing a winner in the beginning of the round, one of which you can have a direct effect on (your individual User Secret) , you are able to monitor in the Round Log to the left the order and size of sums entered in the pot and by using the third component in our draw function (the size of the ticket array) which is dynamic and cannot be known in advance you can derive both the winning ticket and the shuffled and unshuffled arrays of tickets so you can verify and know the that draw 100% fair and reproducable.
